Leading IT Training specialist Silicon River has worked with Starlight during many years to produce and update a 12 hour video training course on how to program in C++
( computer language) in the shortest time possible. This course subsequently became an international success and has been an integral part of the training for in-house IT engineers of numerous blue chip companies including Boeing and BT. These modules were produced in a highly visual style incorporating a presenter interacting with computer code, similar to the way a weather person interacts with maps on Broadcast TV.

In the Insurance industry, Starlight have produced various staff Induction and Training modules for the U.K.’s largest friendly society, Liverpool Victoria, (Frizzell). To trainees, such content is often perceived as bland and monotonous, but in this instance we consulted with the Head Office training centre about the construction of a viewing theatre to show case the finished product and accentuate a high impact surround sound track which we produced uniquely for their innovative new viewing facility.

As a result, it was reported that the film totally ‘came to life’ for trainees, especially during the section in the programme depicting the companylife’s interesting history which has spanned two world wars.!

Wallis, a division of the Arcadia Group, required a definitive guide demonstrating how to construct visual merchandising throughout their UK outlets, we then produced a step by step guide of how to achieve this using a series of video training modules which featured a unique combination of fly through animations as well as simultaneous, easy to follow instructions conveyed by Head office management.

Starlight have worked closely with top events company UK Productions, to produce creative training programmes for other divisions within the Arcadia Group, including Miss Selfridge, and Burton.
